Dear 76ERS FAN,

We continue to be committed to the vision and process we set forth.  As we look ahead to the future, we have built a young, talented team with upside and incredible heart, acquired four potential first-round draft picks, and we are building the largest and most cutting-edge basketball Training Complex in the world opening this fall.

We have added talent and knowledge in the front office that we believe will help us achieve our goals.  Our recent hire of Jerry Colangelo, Chairman of Basketball Operations, brings over five decades of experience across multiple professional sports leagues and businesses, along with an extensive network of contacts and relationships.  Mike D’Antoni was also added to Brett Brown’s staff for his expertise and reputation as an offensive innovator.

In addition to our foundation of current players, top international prospect and two-time European Young Player of the Year winner, Dario Saric, has publicly shared his desire and excitement to join our program.  Joel Embiid stays committed to his rehab and workouts and we’re encouraged by his dedication and the progress he continues to show.

We have accumulated incredible assets, and as Jerry said, “now is the time to cash in the chips.” We eagerly await the NBA Draft in June.  Early indicators are that this is a deep draft.   With a potential for four first-round draft picks, and the right to swap picks with the Sacramento Kings, we will explore and take advantage of strong trade opportunities and pursue top-flight talent in the draft.  We also will look to make impactful decisions in free agency.

Off the court, we have been working tirelessly to build our state-of-the-art Training Complex to be ready for the upcoming season.  The 125,000-square-foot campus will be the largest, best, and most technologically advanced in the NBA.  The goal of the Training Complex will be twofold: to supply the most progressive training, wellness, and recovery techniques to our current players, and enhance our offerings in the recruitment of the best talent in the NBA.
